Spa Francorchamps!

Hey TRF,

Just ran a half marathon (21km, three laps) on this legendary race track.
Two friend with me, one running his own pace and one supporting with coffee and pie

I finished in approximately 1:51, should get a confirmation email later this night.
My friend finished in 2:36-ish.

Just a great day

Very cool Bas. I’ve don’t think I can run outside when it’s that cold. Good job.

Eau Rouge was steeper than I expected it to be!

That is really cool. Spa is the one F1 race I want to get to that I haven't seen yet.

Well done Bas... As much as I dislike the cold, cold weather clear sky race days always offered great potential to PB ... but was the track slippery?

Very cool Bas! Did you run on intermediates or full wets? Can’t wait for the ‘18 F1 season to begin.

Cheers guys!
This and the Nordschleife are my two favourite tracks. Both are a 50min-1hr drive from home.

Yes it was quite slippery, had a few whoops moments but nothing serious

Congratulations Bas!
That’s quite an iconic venue to run around.

I’ve got tickets booked for the Spa Grand Prix later this year and very excited about it.
(Although I hope it’s a little warmer than it was in your pics)

Thanks James
It was amazing to run three laps on this track and see it all up close

Be sure to post pictures of the GP
