128 Days with my 8 month old BLNR

I’ve never been much of a stickler for this but many postings on TRF made me think: hmmm, how well is my beautiful BLNR doing in the accuracy department?

I was stunned. I expected it to be great but, to me, this is insanely great.

128 days between settings (I had to change my 24 hour GMT hand yesterday because most of the U.S. went on daylight savings time and my home time zone jumped ahead one hour).

Summary: 44 seconds gained over 128 days = ~ 1/3 of a second a day.

Wow.

Coming up 8 months old, I just checked my DJ41 with its 3235 movement.

0 seconds gained or lost over 232 days.

Great post! I too have found it to be a superb time keeper. Also consistently the best performing GMT that I have ever owned. Would never go to a brand other than Rolex for that function now.

Puts mine in the shade! Zowie!!

I wear mine every other day and, if it sits for more than a day, wind it. Do you wear yours daily?

Nah...just enjoy it. You’ll know if it needs any tuneups.

I didn’t wear it non stop but it’s 128 days since I hacked it to exact time. If I went two days without wearing (rare), I wound it. I’d have kept it going but daylight time meant I needed to change the 24hour hand, so I thought this was a good time to check accuracy.

Cheers!
