Bring on the Pan-Am GMT!
Now that Rolex has brought out the new steel Pepsi GMT how long before they bring out the final GMT. This is the mythical watch given to Pan-Am execs.
Clearly Rolex has no problem having multiple dial options for the same watch across their range so that isn’t an issue. Steel would be amazing but this seems more of a platinum piece. Would you be a buyer? (You heard it here first.) Pic from web:

I really would like to see it.
I would buy it if it was in steel. It does make more sense for it to be in a PM since it was designed for executives. I don’t think it’ll happen. But, I’m no “expert.” I think Tudor would produce a white face GMT, before Rolex (excluding the Explorer II Polar). |

Was saying this in an another thread.
Honestly, if they were going to change the dial color of the WG BLRO this year, it should have been to this. I think this would have helped keep some real appetite for the WG model going forward. If they did something like this they should also offer the option for existing WG BLRO owners to switch out their dial for a modest price. White dial on the Pepsi would have been enough of a distinguishing factor for any watch guy to instantly recognize an iconic WG GMT. I think this would have been more of a win-win with the launch of the SS Pepsi. |

I surmised this was one way to release a SS without annoying black WG owners, but not sure it will happen now with all the hoops Rolex have jumped thru for years with this ceramic bezel, think they are done and don't want to look at this watch anymore!

Maybe a good candidate to replace the WG when 3285 is added

Throw a 16570 dial in a blnr and swap the bezel for a pepsi one.
