Had a chance to try the watch on, the red/black strap is horrible. It is very cheap looking in person and also cheap to the touch. The armor-all sheen is very apparent in person and will not change with use. AP seemed to use an entirely different formulation on the rubber for this one or possibly another supplier. Would definitely swap the strap out.

Not to mention the smooth ceramic bezel.

If AP does put more detail in the 44 like verticals brush lines on the bezel, they should do it for the 42.

And they already did 42 ceramic bezel with vertical brush on ceramic Diver... really don't know why they misses it on this one...
