Weight of 214270 Explorer

Can anyone provide the weight of the 214270 Explorer? Thank you!!! Does it have a strong lume? I had the short hand model for a short while and it was not easy to read.

Don't have a scale, but it is pretty light. Lume is very strong ...

Approximately 150g, pending number of links. Lume is like any other modern Rolex sports, very good.

Good review :

^ That's 216570 Explorer II. I think OP asks for 214270 Explorer.

My pre 2015 214270 weighs 130g with 2 links removed. My scale is older and only has 5g precision.

My 214270 (2017) weighs in at 132g with 11 links in place (7.25” wrist). The lume on this watch is ok, but it’s no Seiko. ;-)

that's what I was hoping to hear about the weight and what I suspected about the lume- somewhat disappointing- but almost 2 ounces lighter than an Orange Monster. The weight is good I'd say, just a 'lil more than an old Rolex. My 14060 no date sub from '91 is just a bit lighter. I find many of today's watches are kind of heavy to me. I like Seiko Monsters on a rubber strap, a good match and much lighter. Thank you!

that's pretty good! I take it yours is the short hand model that I once owned. Do you still enjoy it? I may have been wise to have held onto it. Thank you!

that lume looks good! My short hand model was not so easy to read when dark. Yes, this is the Explorer, but I bet lume is similar. I gather lume is not a Rolex strongpoint... or am I off on this?

The lume on my 6 digit Rolex watches has been excellent, way better than most brands out there

I purchased mine yesterday, and your input was of great assistance. I love it! The lume is seemingly real good and so is the weight. Mine weighs 4.75 ounces, just a little heavier than my 14060 sub (1991) at 4.45. It is a heckuva watch, great looking, great quality, but I love the size, the weight, the dimensions... it is perfect on so many levels! It's been awhile since I parted with the other one I owned, the short hand model, but I feel like I dig this one so much more...
