“Rollie” huh?

Ugh.

Another superhero-watch connection huh?

Freakin why? Ugh.

Nope, nothing substantive to contribute besides that and I hope this thread goes away though I’m sure it won’t.

I heard from my third cousin, who knows someone that knows someone working at an AD, that they will now be instituting a min age requirement to get on a waitlist or buy a watch.

Just kidding, all in good fun.

Calling all Smurf Rollies to represent....By the way what are your thoughts? If most sport Rolex are being dubbed with super hero names, why don't the BLNRO dubbed Superman as opposed to Pepsi? hmm....

Only watch nickname which sticks well is the HULK. I don't see Batman as popular nickname for BLNR. People still refer to it as BLNR whereas Green Sub is always referred as Hulk!!

Concerning colours I think the new 126710 BLRO is better matching Batman’s sexually confused brother than Superman...

(Pic found on the www)

Don’t own a superhero-watch, but some days ago I met TheHulk.
He tried on my 1680 and said...

Cool thread. All the people who hate on a nickname need to lighten up. Yes, well all still know the reference numbers by heart as well. Do a test and go into a Rolex AD and ask for a watch by the reference number. See what happens. They look at you like your on crack. I did it at two AD's and same looks.

You would be surprise, since I got my BLNR last week, twice peeps have come to me and asked if my watch is the Batman.

Yeah I guess, and the best part is that you know these two watches are going to go head to head once the latter hits the market. Batman versus Superman LOL.
