I'm married so I haven't dated anyone, other than my wife, in the past 28 years.

I have a friend who was divorced in his late 30s, he said that those pay dating services were a great way to hook up. He met his current wife at a party though.

Tinder, Bumble, Happn, etc. There's no shame to App based dating these days. Or you can still do it the old school way and just talk to women directly, which people have seem to forgotten in this era.

How is it now?

It’ll likely be very similar.

If you want to start getting ready for it now, consider working weekends out at the airport.
Getting used to the baggage is half the battle.

More truth to this than not... I did match, met my now wife, awesome woman, but took going through a few ( in a non-biblical sense) to find a great woman...

However, I have no doubt the fairer sex would say the same about us.

Good luck.

My mom and step dad met on match. No shame doing that. Especially if you’re a busy professional!

It all depends on what you're looking for.

You can find a decent girl at family events, weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, etc ...

Bars, Tinder, Online Dating Apps for other stuff. Sure there are some exceptions, but if I'm aiming for something fruitful I'd go the friends and family route.

It actually gets a lot easier after 30 :) I thought HS and College was a free for all.

I met my wife 24 years ago at a Christian Singles Dance. We’re still married today. I was 41 at the time and going through a divorce.

Not to hijack: Hey Carlos, How goes it?

I am 42 and been married for 21 years. Was barely old enough to legally drink at my own wedding.

To be honest I was dating her best friend at the time and things just happened.

But if I were to be single again now, grocery stores, church groups or gym??? I would suggest you look for someone that has common interests that goes to similar places etc. I know they say opposites attract but it sure can make it tough sledding sometimes. And I would likely date older women that liked to buy me expensive watches.

Sorry to Hijack ! Rich, my friend! I've been tooling and tinkering with projects down in Colombia since December. Miss home dearly but I have to keep pushing down here until things pan out.

Sorry for being distant and I hope you and the family are well. Lookout for a post talking about my adventures, missing home (USA) and TRF. Big Hug

Dating in your 30s usually leads to a happy marriage IMHO.

when you are over 30, but what is your dates ideal age? That probably matters for the method of acquiring such a date.

Put a wedding ring on and take a friend's toddler to the playground. The places are crawling with women. Then once the conversation starts you can come partially clean about the toddler not being yours. Then she'll think you love kids too....

Strikes me as an unusual question, VFA.
How old are you now?
You are obviously thinking it will be different after you turn 30.
Is this because you will be so terribly old (over the hill, really) and you are maybe thinking that it will be difficult taking your date back to your room at the nursing home.
I guess manoeuvering your wheelchairs so they don't get tangled up could be an issue also.

Met my current girlfriend in rehab, did a bit of online dating which was a nightmare, and went out with a few women I met at work, which also was a nightmare. Make sure to do background checks early on.

Yeah, I learned in my mid 20s that nothing good comes out of a bar.

I was over 30 when I met my wife using a paid online dating app (e-harmony). I guess I lucked out and we got married a year later, and we've been married for a little over a year now.
