I think it actually looks okay. Would I buy one? No.

You could do the same for a lot less money than they charge.

There are plenty of tough watches on black. Luminox for one.
I really don't like a Rolex done in this finish.

I've got to admit I like it a lot, but I wouldn't pay the sort of money they want for it.
I've got to say though if Rolex made a Daytona that looked like this with or without the PVD I'd be all over it like a rash

Why did they ever stop making the black acrylic bezels
