Estimates traditionally do not include the buyer's premium. But it's just an auction house trick, because final prices DO include the buyer's premium, so it makes final numbers look better.

But for the buyer, there's only one number that matters: the check he/she has to write for the item. So, the final number is the sale price and an indication of the market value, in the auction world anyway.

Reality is that almost everything gets passed if not closest bid under the low estimate. If not no reserve.

No, we are not, its such a great looking watch. The really good ones will go up and up.

Prices will continue to increase, IMHO, barring a broad economic meltdown.

Why would prices decrease? The demand will always, always be super strong for these stunningly beautiful watches, and they're not making them any more, of course. Those two factors alone mean prices will always go in one direction ... up.
