Driving kids is usual but....what the ?!?!?!

All of you who have kids or nieces/nephews in the early teens are used to the weekend ‘driving around’. They all have plans, so you drive them to a friend’s house, a restaurant, movies....then wait and pick them up later....you know the drill.

Well, my mother in law called this morning, one of her cousins is celebrating her birthday and will throw a party, so she need someone to drive her there and back. Although she drives, her plan is to stay until midnight, so she would rather have someone do the driving.

...so tonight I am dropping my kids AND my mother in law at different venues, grabbing dinner and then doing the circuit AGAIN close to midnight. There goes the easy evening 🤣

...we need a pic just to make this fun. Casual lunch at the no frills patio. Beer. Pulled pork. Pork belly. Ribs. Simple as that!

Looks like good BBQ G. Not a bad way to start your "Uber Evening".

Haha, sounds like the usual day around my neck of the woods. My days off start Monday through Friday.

I’ve been thinking about picking up a large SUV as I too am the family driver. I don’t mind, I like to drive.

My wife always says she goes to work to relax....and her job isn't relaxing at all.

G, I could make a joke about how good it is that you're keeping the female drivers off the road but I don't want any infraction points on the forum or at home.
