Help me decide: 16613 or 16610lv ?

Almost have enough savings to invest in my first Sub! Torn between the TT 16613 or the Kermit 16610lv. Pros, cons and overall insights from those that have both?

Why, for performance or resale value?

Do like the non-maxi dial?

That’s what I don’t like on all the non LV 5 digit Submariner Date models.

LV is a classic piece. Rolex gives it special attention. Rolex generally won’t even sell replacement parts for the LV to outside watchmakers.

Tough decision you have. Personally, I’d get the LV. I like the new Bluesy more than the previous version; the LV is much harder to acquire; and if I were to get a 5 digit TT it would be the silver serti dial.

You get to decide between two beautiful watches! Have you worn each one on your wrist? Do you have a preference of one over the other? Have you tried on the 6 digit blue?

I had a 16613, and traded up to the 116613. I prefer the solid links, the glide lock clasp, the maxi dial, and the larger case (the case grew on me, but I now like it better).

Additionally, I find the blue to be more versatile than the green. You can wear it with shorts or a tux.

But, the good news is that there are no wrong answers here! Either way, you get a beautiful Watch! Put each one on your wrist, and choose the one that sings to your heart!

Peace!

The TT sub is 30% cheaper so depending on where you are with your savings that might be a factor. Although I’m sure many more blue subs were sold I see a lot more LVs in the wild these days for whatever that’s worth

TT sub is likely less than half the price if OP plans to get an mk1 flat 4 LV as pictured.

I’d go LV either way but all preference.

That’s really great advice!! The LV is squirrely to find these days so I must spend more time feeling it out!

Ya LV is more but seems like a good investment, yet I’m not looking to resell. Def a keeper.

That’s good to hear. Seems like the LVs are in demand.

I have small wrists so the maxi dials may be harder for me to pull off well.

I don't do green, and I don't like blue bezels.

However, I think that the TT black Sub is the best looking watch Rolex ever made.
