Icon20 Finally my new Rolex Daytona

Hi everyone I just want to say that I got my dream Watch on Wednesday over in the UK. I took an hours flight to the UK then a five hour round trip by train to Blackburn in the North of England before another hour's flight home. I am now the proud owner of a 2018 Rolex Daytona 116503 (New Model) White MOP 8 Diamonds Dial & I couldn't be happier. This is not my first Rolex this is my sixth though I haven't kept six I have just two, a Sub 116613LB Blue Sunburst Dial & this new beauty. I did have a 2017 Daytona 116503 ( New Model) White Dial with Gold Sub Dials, but when I saw the White MOP 8 Diamonds Dial I knew straight off I wanted it. I never really rated Diamonds on a Rolex they just weren't my thing until I saw this one in a local Rolex AD's. So in February last I sold my Daytona to part fund the new Daytona, in all the new Watch cost me in excess of $18,500 but I am delighted with it. I am still trying to post photos of it I just can't seem to manage it. I know you use the tapatalk app but I cannot get it in on my phone but I will keep trying

Congrats and I commend you for the effort you put in to secure the piece! Its also a good lesson that when you really want something and you put in the effort, its almost always obtainable. Look forward to photos!

Yes I have waited three months for this, the Grey Dealer I do business with in the North of England had to source the Watch as it wasn't an in stock item. In
2016, 2017 & this year I have travelled to the UK to buy Rolexes. The Dealer is very reasonable in price & are also lovely people to deal with. It is a great experience to see the Watch for the first time after all the travelling it makes it that bit more special. Also in my City there is only one Rolex AD & they are looking for crazy money for their Watches. The Daytona I collected over in the UK on Wednesday is priced at 20,250 Euro which would be about $22,500. Even taking the conversion rate into consideration changing Euro into British Pounds I am still saving almost 2,500 Euro. So all told in the last three years on the last three Rolexes I have saved almost 7,500 Euro & that is serious money

Thank you, yes I was just saying that the only Rolex AD in Dublin are Weir's to my knowledge & honestly they are way too expensive. When I am looking for a Rolex I go to a Grey Dealer in Blackburn in the UK. I came across them by chance & have purchased my last three Rolexes from them. I go over to collect the Watches in person. I am making massive saving's on the Watches. In the last three year's I have purchased three Watches but sold the Daytona I purchased last year to help with the cost of this beautiful Daytona. I would love to post photos but I am unable to do so. In all I have saved myself almost 7,500 Euro in total & everything is done above board with the Warranty Card stamped, dated & signed in my name. These people are a joy to do business with & keep you well informed of everything that's going on. I don't know if I will be buying my next Watch over there I don't know what the Custom's will be like when the UK finally leave the EU

Congrats and enjoy!

I had a MOP dial with diamonds on a YG Daytona and loved it.
