116655 yachtmaster on oysterflex

Thinking of pulling the trigger and just asking any owners thoughts on the oysterflex bracelet. Also DavidSW has one with plastic on it for about 10%off but I'm pretty sure I can get that from a AD.

I think the only complaint is no easy link on the yachtmaster. Have you tried the watch? Do you know what size oysterflex you need. Rose Gold Daytona on oysterflex is another option. Daytona has easylink.

I love the Daytona on Oysterflex. Have you considered that? May hold its value a bit better than the YM. As far as the Oysterflex bracelet goes, it wears more snugly than an Oyster bracelet. It also has a bit more wrist presence, as it has 'fins' beneath the bracelet which prop it up a bit and provide ventilation for your wrist on hot days. I like the added presence, some don't. Some also complain about the 'fins', but I like their utility. The bracelet has a titanium core, so it is more rigid than an Everest or RubberB and stays in a curved position. You must be sure you purchase a watch with a properly sized bracelet, especially if buying grey as it may be difficult to acquire replacement bracelets. If you buy through an AD, they will definitely ensure you get the right fit.

I have tried it on and have the fit down wondering more about durability and comfort from people who have the watch.

I’ve had the 116655 for nearly three years now, picked it up pretty soon after release. It has worn well and is generally my go-to weekender. I’d say go for it, I do wish it had the easy link but the “fins” offer a bit of flex. Beautiful piece and understated, I love it! Best of luck
