Excellent AD in Virgina for great service
Hi - I'm a new member to the forum. The info I've read here has been extremely helpful, so thanks to everyone for the insightful posts. In the spirit of sharing info I wanted to share with you detail on an excellent AD in Virginia that might prove handy if you live in the area. The company I normally buy from there is called Lenkersdorfer Fine Jewelry and it's in Tyson's Corner Mall. It's part of a larger chain called LIljenquist & Beckstead Fine Jewelers.
As an example of their great service, consider this experience - I purchased a Z series Explorer II from them in early 2007. I took the watch home and, having removed all the stickers, began wearing it immediately. On the second day I noticed that the crown did not twist in all the way, flush with the case, but rather left a very slight space. Most people wouldn't notice but any watch lover (spending lots of $) would. I took it back and rather than sending it back to Rolex they took the watch back, and ordered me another one with no problems or hassles! Amazing! This kind of service is quite rare in my experience. Since then I've purchased 2 more Rolexes and I will continue to buy from them. The sales person I deal with is named Qasim and he's very responsive and helpful. To be clear, I'm not affiliated with these guys in any way. I just thought I'd share my experience with an excellent AD that might be helpful for someone in the future. Good luck! |

Welcome aboard!
Sounds like great service, other AD's would have probably sent out the watch for service... Thanks for sharing.. |
