Got the call...Tudor Pepsi

Got the call today for Tudor Pepsi on bracelet. Looks like I am #1 at the Rolex/Tudor AD I use.

Thing is I am now stuck in a quandary. I am also down for the Rolex SS Pepsi but can’t justify both. By the AD own admission I won’t be getting the Rolex until next year as I am no where near one of the big fish when it comes to Rolex but he has always looked after me.

I have need to see the Tudor in the flesh as I have seen the Rolex and I have a slight reservation about it being red/blue or purple/pink !!!!

I won’t ask what I should do but has anyone seen these side by side and what were your thoughts.....colours, bang for buck etc

Get the Tudor now and then sell for the Rolex when it comes in, if ever. Look forward to pics, you are one of the very first, if not the first.

I'd jump on that Tudor in a heartbeat and, frankly, I wouldn't think any more about the Rolex Pepsi.

Of course, I have the BLNR, which I'm perfectly happy with.

I also happen to like the Tudor GMT better than the Rolex Pepsi, at least that's how I currently feel.

Awesome, can't wait to see it. Get it for sure. You can always sell it at a slight loss later if you get the call on the Rolex GMT and decide to go that route.

Fab - a no lose scenario I would expect. I’m sure if you prefer the Rolex you will be able to flog it for retail or thereabouts. Love to see a few wrist pics when you get it.

TBH I personally don't think the Pepsi Tudor would be that hard to get in the future if you past now so if you heart is set on the Rolex - I would just wait it out. It seems like the Tudor wouldn't really scratch that itch.

Right on at the end of May. Still waiting for our call on our end. Definitely get the Tudor and sell when you get the Rolex GMT call. The loss would be very minimal if at all, and it would have “paid off” on your usage of it

This seems to be the obvious answer. Also buys time to convince yourself you need both :)

Get it! Next year is a ways away for the Pepsi. Maybe when that call comes in you'll be in a position to justify both.

Tough choice, not one I would want to be faced with. I would probably go for the Tudor and be chuffed for a while, then be gutted when the Rolex became available.

Sage advice as usual Neil. Just going thru scenarios at the minute.

One is I trade a Breitling old Navitimer that is very lightly used to watchfinder and get the majority of the cash for the Tudor this way, I vary seldom wear it.

Anyone got thoughts on that one ? I bought it about 18 yrs ago and had intended to keep it tbh.

Get the Tudor. It's too long of a time to wait. When you get the call for the Rolex GMT then you have a question to answer. Keep both or sell the Tudor?

I am 45/55 toward the Tudor at the minute Grady. Value for money short term is a consideration (Rolex will win out long term I’m sure), and it does look a great watch. Would have loved to get the chance of having both in the hand at the same time so I could chose, but got more chance of platting fog I think.

Looking forward to photos of the Tudor. Curious if there was a wait list and any up-charge for the popular Pepsi Tudor?

I’d go for the Tudor Pepsi coz it’s available now.

Rolex Pepsi next year is still a dream with all these yet to be released and hope my name on the list is up.

Go for the tudor, such a great piece. And like already mentioned can flip if you need to when you’re rolex is available.

I would try the Tudor for size and if you are happy with the thickness and balance on your wrist etc. then make your decision.

I would get the Tudor now and wear and enjoy it. I would keep my name on the Rolex Pepsi list and wait for it to come in. Next year is a long time and it could be that for the money the Tudor stays and you get another Rolex. I am looking forward to the pictures.

I say get the Tudor now as others have said. I may be a little biased though as I got my call today too.
