Daily Upkeep Recommendations for your Rolex?

Just curious what everyone does to maintain their Rolexes on a daily basis? It seems like polish is only used when there are serious scratches and it is used sparingly. Are there any other solutions you use to keep the luster high, or do you just wipe your watch down with a cloth?

My daily routine includes taking it off before bed and putting it back on in the morning. That's about the extent to which I care.

That's on a GMT II with PCL bracelet. I don't polish it, ever.

I rinse them off with soap and water every now and then. 2-3 times a year I run the bracelets through my ultrasonic cleaner.

Wear it in the shower, give it a light soap wash with my hands. Always clean, which is important for avoiding bracelet stretch.

You don’t need to do anything to your watch on a daily basis aside from wear it...

well, and perhaps a bedtime story.

I don’t do much.

Rather, I don’t do anything.

I may wipe off the crystal occasionally if it’s smudged up. But yeah... daily routine is wearing it.

I wear it every day, will wipe off the bracelet periodically with a cloth. Other than that, maybe once every couple of weeks I give it a bath...either in the shower or in the sink.

Whoa, you don't rinse the thing off or shower with it or anything? That's a receipt for bracelet stretch, once the grime starts wearing away at the metal.

For me? Wearing it = showering with it, eating with it, walking with it, talking with it, put my thing down drop it and reversing with it.

Just a normal daily routine like anybody else!

You’re supposed to put your thing down and flip it not drop it

Nowt really.
Swim or shower occasionally to give it a clean.

If I am at the gyms Spa where they have one of those massage water chute thingies - it gets a pressure wash
.........which hopefully gets any dirt/grit out.

Joking aside, I’ve found that if I just wash it with hand or dish soap once or twice a week and then pat it dry my BLNR and SS/PL YM sparkle like new. Sometimes I’ll just let them soak in a warm bath of dish soap for 15 minutes. This dissolves a lot of the crud that accumulates. It’s so easy and it’s a Rolex. You can do it!
