Bezel comparison: BLNR vs new BLRO side by side..

Hi Folks,
No matter how much i tried, i wasn’t able to have a liking to the new Blue/red (violet/pink) colors of the Pepsi bezel...i have tried to look through all the images possible on our TRF as well as on the internet to understand the huge fan following of the new Pepsi bezel...yday, i visited the newly opened Rolex Boutique in Dubai Mall and incidentally (suprisingly) saw the new BLRO with blue dial there.
Understanding that Pepsi ‘18 and the BLRO ‘18 (white gold, blue dial) have the same colored bezel, i tried it on side by side by BLNR...still the colors look off and didnt entice me...
Sharing it here..
Btw, the new Rolex Boutique in Dubai mall is an amazement, 3 floors, with the top floor having a customer experience centre set up along with a 3.5 mins video about Rolex in their well made albeit small theatre, that will leave one dazed!!!

To each his own, I guess. At any rate. Was the blro available for walk-in clients?

The blue on the BLNR is perfect. Not much for the purple and cranberry.

It is indeed purple-pink instead of blue-red bezel for the new BLRO. I agree the BLNR provides us with much better bezel colors. However, I may accept the new BLRO if it is available to me without charging the premium.

I don't know about pink or not, but the blue is certainly purple compared to the BLNR. I was sure it was just individual photo lighting, but it's very enlightening to see them side by side. Love the blue on the BLNR...blue on the BLRO isn't necessarily bad, but I find it less likable than BLNR.

I assume it was intentional...but why?

I guess Rolex has some kind of technological difficulty to make a true blue-red ceramic bezel.

Well done, good photo opportunity. Hope the new boutique was nice. In that photo, the blue and black come out a winner for me.

You can see the difference but I like it. I am not currently in the market for the BLRO but in the future when the newness wears off and the prices adjust downward I would be a buyer.

If they had both been released at the same time, I imagine the hype would have been for the BLNR based on that picture.

IMO the first generation BLRO with black dial is much nicer.

I don’t like cranberry.

And I have a serious dislike for purple.

But I really still like this bezel. I prefer the SS because I’ve got a thing for jubilee ever since getting my DJ41 on jubilee.

It’s strange for me. There’s a lot I don’t like separately. But all together, I’m loving it. Can’t waiy for mine to come in. It’ll make a great pair with my BLNR on a sub bracelet.

Not everyone's taste but that's why we have options.
I absolutely love the colors on the ceramic BLROs and can't wait to add the SS.

Forgot to mention that I don’t think the blue from the batman would look right with the red. The blue on the batman is way too bold.

The red/blue doesn't bother me nearly as much as the stickers remaining on that BLNR.

I think the Batman looks miles better than the new BLRO and I’m sure I’ll be flamed for it..

The BLRO will look different due to the bezel being WG
