BLRO WHITE GOLD. Blue or black dial?
Can pick up this beauty now with the black dial. Love the feel of the weight on my wrist. Or should I wait for the blue dial??? Help!

I love blue dials. But if the dial does not match the bezel, then I think it will look off.

I think the blue one looks awesome but would have to see them in person to choose.

I tried the new blue one on at a reveal, it's darker in person than I thought. I'd be perfectly happy with the black dial instead especially thinking for a better deal.

I have been wrestling with similar choice: I ended up waiting for the Blue dial.
Why? First of all: both are great, you can’t go wrong. Black dial is now discontinued model with wg. That might be good thing. But: blue dial has never been an option for this model earlier. I think that with blue dial, it will be collectible some day. With new pepsi black dial: everyone has it with black dial... blue is a little more special, IMO. Black or blue; stunning watches anyway!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Didn't Rolex say that owners of the black dial can get it switched to blue for free? In that case, might as well get black and see how you like it, and then switch later if you want to.
I was originally thinking I preferred the black dial, but the blue pics above make me less sure. It's a softer blue in those pics, and matches the bezel better. I'd probably want to see both in person if I were deciding. |

Now that it’s discontinued, it might not be around (in stores) much longer. Normally I say wait and compare, but in this case, I’d strike while the iron is hot. I have it, and love it.

The black looks so much better as it’s just right for this watch!

My AD told me that only a very few of the most recent black dial sales would even be considered for a free change. He only offered the deal to two, and both declined.

I mean since this is TRF, the obvious choice is get the black dial now and ADD the blue dial to your collection...lol
Okay okay. This is a hard one. Love the classic look of black but i’m Really wanting to see the new blue dial in person. I’m a sucker for blue dials in general if executed properly. As someone else mentioned, get the Black now and wait for the blue to come out and compare. If you like the blue better, send it in to get swapped. |

I know I’m in the minority, but this watch (either the WG or the new Pepsi that everyone is going crazy for) never and still doesn’t do anything for me. I don’t like the colors of the bezel, and I definitely find the jubilee bracelet to feminine for me.
Having said that, when I saw the new WG version with the blue dial I was immediately drawn to it. It’s amazing on how such a small detail can make such a big difference on how the watch presents itself. I guess I’m lucky that I could really care less about the new Pepsi because I wouldn’t be able to acquire one anyways, but the WG with the blue dial is a stunner and if I didn’t already have a Smurf, this would be my next time piece. That’s the great thing about our hobby/passion for nice time pieces. Everyone is different and we like what we like. Just because I don’t like them doesn’t mean they aren’t incredible watches, on the contrary, I’m one of the only weirdos that doesn’t like the new Pepsi. All that to basically say: get the WG BLRO with the new blue dial. Absolutely beautiful!!, |

The blue is my vote. It differentiates itself from the SS version. Well that and the bracelet.

I prefer the black dial. I've just never been a fan of the flat blue dials...which is what has kept me off of the WG Sub...now if it was released with a sunburst dial...it would get back on the radar...

I usually prefer blue dials but not in this case, I think the black dial gives a nicer contrast.
About Rolex changing the dial for free ROFL, in what world do you live in? Maybe they will change the dial for free once you buy the other one, that might be possible though not sure, but change it for free no chance |

My choice would be the blue dial BLRO. It's a stunning color, goes really well with the red/blue bezel. Got to see it in person at my local AD Basel 2018 presentation, a few weeks ago. Plus with the introduction of the SS BLRO on jubilee, I would much rather have the WG on a blue dial.

The black dial of course. If the market price of SS Pepsi’s does not drop over the next year then the WG BLRO will become a much more attractive purchase given that it has the Oyster and can be had for $27-30k in mint condition.
