Is it me?

After coming into the watch scene about 3 years ago, I'm starting to like the older style rolexs vs the newer ones. 36mm seem spot of if you keep an open mind. Maybe Im getting old (33). I also, enjoy older looking cars pre- 2010 models. There's something about the 80's, 90's early 2000 era that feels so authentic. This gones on with clothes, music, quality of goods and so on.

Just my thoughts.

You’re a millennial! It’s only natural....j/k. I’m 35 and prefer the 5 digit references myself but I also enjoy the 6 digit references. With the rising cost of the 5 digits they don’t get rotated as much as my 6 digit models as they are easier to replace should something happen.

Nostalgia is not what it used to be.

you could just be a hipster. Do you have a beard and wear sweaters a lot? Just considering all the options.

Of course, I'm technically a 'millennial' and in the same boat.

It’s just you. No one in the history of this forum has ever preferred older models to the six digits.
