Want to Get a New Dial for 20 year old Datejust 36 - Options?

Have a 1999 TT Datejust 36. Jubilee bracelet and fluted bezel. Dial is white with really skinny sticks. Sticks have a really small glow-in-the-dark tip at the top. Wanting to get a new dial - preferably champagne, silver or mother-of-pearl with diamonds to give to my wife (yes, she wants this.) What are my options to get this done? I have a few specific questions I’d appreciate help on.

1) Does Rolex Service Center in Dallas do this in conjunction with a service? I’ve never had it serviced and it runs a little fast. If they do, do they have dial selections or do I bring my own?

2) If I bring my own, where’s a good place to get one and how do I know it fits? As long as it is a 36mm dial, we’re good? Or is it a little more complicated?

3) What all does a RSC do on a service? Also, what does a service cost? Are there service options, or is a service the same thing every time?

Any and all tips, ideas or experiences appreciated. I don’t have a clue where to start other than right here!

Hey I know Duff’s Jewelers in Flower Mound have some Datejust dials and they will swap them out for you. I was just in there and they were telling me they would and could do that.

Best way to get factual answeres about RSC Dallas is to call them and ask or better yet stop by with your watch and ask them. Good luck

Take it to RSC and have it done correctly for your wife. They’ll switch to any period-correct dial (for a cost and in exchange for your dial).
