First two retired A380 superjumbos to be broken up for parts

AA 737Max bathroom issues I did read the part about only if it's in main cabin only

IMO its short sighted as its the best airplane in the sky. Flights are increasing and major airports are at max capacity or will be soon. For example heathrow and other major airports landing slots are full. If you want to increase capacity to a lot of places, you need to fly in a bigger plane.

It has too many engines. It will be more economical to fly two engine wide body's than these massive four engine jets.

I doubt I'll be able to pry myself out of my seat, or wedge myself into this lav, so I'll just pee in a ziplock bag and hand it off to the FA to dispose. Of course, if they're trapped in the galley by the open lav door, I'll just have to sling the baggie to the back of the plane.

Take an empty water balloon for your needs and sling that! What's the point if the bag doesn't explode

Of course you are right, engine maintenance is expensive. At some point (maybe about 10 years ago?) I think ICAO changed some of the ETOPS rules governing how long an airplane is allowed to fly on only 1 engine to reach a diversion airport. Before that some routes required 3 or 4 engine planes.
