Any New BRLO Owners who were NOT First?

We have seen quite a few BRLO SS GMT II deliveries recently. I am curious if any of these new BRLO Owners were not at the top of the list for their AD?

I think if they weren't at the top, then they are still waiting lols. This watch is too high in demand to pass up by anyone.

Or he could mean did the AD get more than one.
There is a thread on CWC that a guy passed on it. He wasn't excited when he saw the colours and passed. Instead of buying and flipping and destroy his relationship with the AD he let it go to the next person.

I am asking if AD’s are getting more than one of these watches.

What I am trying to understand is if we are looking at a Daytona supply or a Submariner supply.

When I gave my AD a deposit she told me I could switch to a Batman pretty much whenever I wanted.

That is quite a lot. 24 per year!
That waitinglist shrinks fast!

I was told I was the first to call but sorry doesn't mean you'll be first to get. Translation VIP's don't need to call to be first to receive. And now I play the waiting game

It won’t be Daytona tough. More like BLNR if anything... Just my humble guesstimate.

My guess is it will be Daytona tough and for quite a while. BLNR never had this kind of hype and supply will stay low for all professional models for the foreseeable future.

I think more like a Daytona, but as there has been a lot of criticism of Rolex lately plus this is not a brand new watch for the most part, I think supply might be better than I thought, at least to verified non-flipper WIS.

I think you are wrong.
The AD i am dealing with need an unrefundable deposit of EUR 1.000,- before placing on waitinglist. I am queued now with a four year waitinglist position.

Have you ever heard such things for the BLNR? I didn't.

Nope
At Chrono24 I counted 60 new white-dial 116500 LN vs 62 one month fresh 125710 BLRO

There has been a $2k price drop at a trusted seller’s website on the BLRO, but the Daytona is holding. This will be interesting to watch, no pun intended!

You put down a thousand euro nonrefundable deposit and have a four year wait? You have more patience than I.

and the premium vs RRP is less on a daytona. Since a Daytona isnt more than 2X list price, the BLRO "dropping" doesnt really say that much in a comparison sense.

no one is saying it is hard to get at market prices. Try to get one from your AD at retail and say it isnt Daytona hard.

Agreed, but it is still a pretty significant drop.

Exactly plus half of Chrono ads don’t even have watches in possession.

not really. The sky dweller did the same thing last year. The price will settle, but i dont think many people thought 22k was sustainable but i do think 15-18k is sustainable for a year or two. Its not indicative of some exponential drop to a few hundred over retail.

You are not paying to be first anymore and that means you are into the more price sensitive segment.

My AD in the US got two a couple weeks ago, one of which was mine. They were told by their rep to not expect another one until close to end of year. Rolex seems to be producing and shipping in batches - a big batch of Pepsis was shipped to US in June, and it will be pretty dry until the next batch in sept/oct probably. The SkyDweller was released in a similar fashion.

Well, 2 AD’s have put me in the list for BLRO and gave ETA (this fall-winter) whereas Daytona’s WS is the subject of sad smiles, excuses and stories about extremly low supplies

I’m comparing qty of offers for both, BLRO and Daytona.
I guess that enough to see the trend

I was second on my AD list. First ones released 1st June and didn’t get a call, so was expecting a few months to pass, but had the call 13 days later and collected it then.

My AD said it may be similar to when the Daytona first came out where initially they had a few in then supply slowed down.
