What causes Bracelet Wear is Dirt and Grime getting worked into the links of the bracelet, then movement of the links caused by the normal wearing of the watch. Now, Accelerated Wear is Caused by NOT Cleaning Your Watch (at least the bracelet) Regularly AND wearing the bracelet too loosely. The loose bracelet allows excessive movement, contributing to more bracelet wear.

So, Keep It Clean AND Properly Adjust The Bracelet To Reduce Unnecessary Movement.
(But Not So Tight That Your Fingers Turn Blue. )

Exactly. On my case it gets extremely tight when the bracelet is closed, to the point that looks like it's going to damage the bracelet (although now I know that many people don't think that's possible; I am not willing to risk it though).

I have an Orbita teak watch box that I'm very happy with. They come in different woods also,you could get a Pelican case with custom inserts too.

I have a box from this company. Got it from amazon. The pillows are more like hard pucks than pillows. Not cushy at all. My watches fit and it’s decently made but for me it’s only an interim solution until I find one with more softer lining. FYI

I agree. I don’t want my watches under constant strain when stored either.

Guys, I am bringing this thread back just to show you all what I settled for.
I bought a Wolf 6 watch stackable tray from Amazon. Then I took a soft ribbon my wife had laying around and tied the watch pillows that were too big. That did the trick and now the watches fit well.
Two of my watches have diver extensions, so I stored them with the extensions open. And one of my watches is on a silicone strap, so I just adjust to the hole that fits the pillow.
Overall not an ideal solution but more than good enough.
Once again I thank this forum for the idea and for the continuous help!
And thank you to Devildog for reminding me to write this post.

Great box you got and I can relate OP. Same problem here. Rolex box is useless for me with that pillow and not enough space to accommodate the watch opened. My favorite box is the old Omega red box with enough room to let the watches opened but they don't make them anymore, so I use this black Omega leather box for the Subs and worked on a customized pillow so I can close the bracelet.

I can assure you no cloth pillow is going to put the same pressure as when the watch is on the wrist if worn correctly.

Peter, you know I respect your opinion, probably the one I respect the most here, but you don't live the problem and I do. I have chicken wrists so if I try to close the bracelet on the normal pillow is like trying to strap the watch to my ankle. I'ts a huge amount of pressure. Of course a pillow will adjust itself with time but I won't run the risk. Same problem with every box I tried, so I customized a pillow and I'm thinking of doing the same (just use white or cream fabric) to the Rolex box so I can use them. But I love how the black leather box worked so I'm cool for now.

I second that. I won't dispute if a pillow can damage a bracelet or not because I don't have the evidence or experience to prove it or disprove it. However, on my case if I were to try to close the bracelet on the pillow it would crush it, putting a lot of pressure in the bracelet. And I am not willing to risk it.

That's beautiful, but a bit too exposed. Most likely unsuitable for people with young kids or pets. Unless you have some kind of cover.

I like the pelican case the best. They’re great products and very durable. I feel a watch case should, primarily, protect the watches. You can run a pelican case over with a truck. I already know what my watches look like so, for me, a glass display is senseless. I’m ordering one today.
