They need to catch and put away the other looser who was part of this. Such a sad story.

And I thought such things would only happen here........

Happened the same to me last year, Jan 27th, the difference is that I gave my LVc to the Mother F... as he had a revolver pointed to my head !

Obviously, this type of crime doesn't happen by chance ! We are 99% of the times, "marked and signalized" by a waiter in a Restaurant, a Valet Parking employee, etc.
I had many other visible items to be stolen but the guy came STRAIGHT to my LVc....

PS - I know this statement is quite exaggerated but after buying another LVc after the theft, I only feel 99% free to wear my Rolex watches, when I'm in my wife's country (Norway).

Jesus. Glad to hear you made it out of the situation okay (relatively speaking) and they just took the watch.

Reading this article is very saddening.

Incredibly sad story.

Mascoll has a story behind all that rage, I’m certain. I’m glad he’s off the streets and can’t hurt anyone else.

Be safe out there!!

Planes crash and I’m still going on vacation.... and will continue to wear my watches wherever I happen to be.

The day I don’t wear a watch, when I want, is the day I become a hermit and move to the middle of the woods

Sad story though

Some humans are truly evil and pathetic. It used to be a mugger would take your stuff and you might get roughed up in the process. Now they kill you and then go through your pockets to see “if” you have something of value.

Sad story.

The mayor of London is sadly doing nothing about the knife and moped crime. My boy Piers Morgan took him down on Good Morning Britain a couple of weeks ago.

Its getting quite common in London.
The are even targeting celebs. I imagine they do their homework and even look online at what certain people are wearing.
I was away in Berlin last week and one of the evenings I actually felt a little uncomfortable with my Sub on. Never felt like that before.

So sad.

They should never release him.

You see so many nice watches in London. However, such incidents are relatively rare so you have to put it into perspective. I have worn my kermit daily in London without incident.

I still worry a little though. Just this morning I saw a guy wearing a 42mm RG Offshore on the London tube. He was asleep with his arm partially dangling with the watch on full show. I was kind of hoping he would be more careful.......

Very sad. However, I keep reading here from certain members the poor advice to travelers to not worry about and wear their very expensive watches as though no one would pay attention and they'll be fine. I think that's foolish advice and this is an example of why. It's never a problem until it is. I would hope this poor fellow did not read that advice on a site like this.

Truth be told, IDGAF about Mascoll and his story. It was his CHOICE to take something that didn't belong to him, and after getting said item, it was his CHOICE to kill the man.

F#%k him.

Animals, pure and simple. Unfortunately the world wide penal system (with some exceptions of course) has gotten to soft on crime. Too concerned with rehabbing and coddling criminals. Harsher penalties are needed.
