Love crępes. Apple filling with whipped cream on top. No cheese, no “savory” fillings. Just apples and whipped cream for me. Guess what I am having tomorrow for breakfast???

Any of the above with a jug of maple syrup !

American pancakes, crispy bacon, runny fried eggs & maple syrup. Cannot beat that breakfast combo.

You can eat eggs with syrup? That's like salmon and custard, too much clashing of sweet and savoury In general I don't like sweets for breakfast, just savoury.

The syrup just gets on the eggs. Gravity redistributes it all over the plate. It works well with fried eggs, especially that bit at the edge where the white is fried crispy.

I have the breville waffle maker too and it's incredible!
I usually make two dozens and freeze them. My husband eats that stuff every day lol

Either pop them in the toaster or nuke in the microwave. Waaaay better than the Kelloggs stuff.

Haha ! it works a treat. Got to be proper maple syrup though, not the maple flavoured stuff like they serve in iHOP.

I agree. But it has to go with Guinness.
