Was originally going for YG CHAMP ROMANS, but made a game time decision for the RG OLIVE and couldn't be happier. Then last week this came...Happy choosing :)

I have grown to prefer the fluted bezel so I would chose WG personally (Olive Dial).

This is a very subjective topic but since you asked:

Gold is yellow. Platinum is white. These are the natural states of the metals.

While I wore a yellow gold day date for many years it is just too flashy and too out there. It can be spotted from space.From a personal standpoint I cannot wear rose gold. My skin tone has a reddish hue to it and it literally disappears on me. I have owned the white gold day date and I found it to be too gray. Thus my choice is:



I would also commented that the smooth bezel makes it much less recognizable to the general population. Many people consider the fluted bezel to be the signature of the Rolex brand. I am not one of them.

Reality: no bad choices here. ☝️
