Tudor 36 Black Vs. Blue

I have started looking at the black bay 36's. I'm not sure if it's my imagination or not, but there seems to be quite a difference between the blue and the black dials in that there seems to be more space between the 'dots' and the minute markers on the black dial which in turn makes the dots on the blue dial look bigger? The blue dial looks 'fuller'?? As if deciding between colours wasn't hard enough...now this!

Maybe it's just the rendering on the internet? I really don't know.

I really like that watch. I like the blue, but tomorrow, I might have a different answer and say black.

The blue does seem bigger in those pictures... I think I’d slightly prefer the blue though

Just received my 41mm today in black dial. I think it should be the same in size, just the dial color and the photo quality made it appear that way. For some reason, the metal around the hour markers pop out more on the blue dial which made it appear larger.

Make sure to go try it on. I thought of getting the 36mm just like you, but when i tried it on......too small even i only have a 6+ inches wrist

I have tried on both the black and blue 36mm and can say both wore small. I though out of the two the blue one wore really small.

Thanks guys, especially for making note of how the 36mm wears small. I have a 7.75" wrist, the tudor and rolex that I own are both 36 and wear fine and so i didnt even think that the 36 black bay would be an issue. A trip to the local AD is in order!

I lean toward black.

I think you need to visit an AD and try these watches on.

In my experience, pictures never do justice to any watch

Nothing wrong with a 36. I have a 7.25" wrist. I usually wear a Sub, but 36 works for me too.

Yup. You need to try it on in person. I never have any watch smaller than 38mm. Saw a lot of reviews of how good the 36 looks good on people, so i was gonna order the 36mm too. But when i tried it on, even the saleman suggested a NO. I guess it's just my weird wrist

I could have the black on my wrist all day and I wouldn’t mind, it looks a bit smaller than the blue and that gives it a very mature look if i must say.
