Collection and opinions

Thinking about trading away the Daytona because it gets minimal wrist time. I got it last year and definitely love it but find myself too afraid to wear it, given the current mark ups. Would you trade or keep?

Also, what should be the next target!? let me hear thoughts! Sorry for bad pics

You have a very nice collection. If it were me, I’d consider trading everything but the Daytona.

Nice collection! Wouldn’t get rid of the Daytona, it’s a great fit in your lineup. Why would you be afraid to wear a SS Daytona??

You own a 116718 and you're worried about wearing the Daytona? Wear that bad boy. It won't make a dent in the resale value.

Getting rid of your Daytona would be the last watch you should part with.

The Daytona, D-Blue and GMT are the only three I wouldn't consider trading.

you are not afraid to full gold gmt but a steel model? that is some unusual logic.

It wouldn't necessarily be a bad idea to swap the 116500LN ... if for whatever reason you don't like wearing it then that is valid enough not to wear it. Don't keep it as an investment. But don't let it go for cheap either (obviously).

I'd get rid of the daytona while it's still charging a premium. I'd put it towards a OF PM daytona, 116518 or 116519, but would that see any more wrist time?

Not a daytona fan so I would flip that no worries and trade for something like a Day date or Skydweller. You need a fluted bezel in your collection.

I’d give the Daytona some more wrist time before you decide to get rid of it.

If you say you love the Daytona, I’d give it the most wrist time! I love mine and feel it’s one of my most versatile watches.. don’t be scared to wear it.. that’s what insurance is for... love that GMT, as many have mentioned also.. beautiful watch! It’s a very nice collection.. if you want to stick with Rolex, maybe add a jubilee piece? Otherwise, I’d suggest an aquanaut or 15400 to add a little variety.. good luck!

To be honest, you got everything covered, and keep your Daytona.

I'm sure he's afraid the watch is going to lose value if it has a scratch :)

I'd dump the speedy or Pam if it was me. Wouldn't get rid of the Daytona.

Nice collection, but the Daytona would be the last one I'd personally part with.

Same here.

No way I’d trade the Daytona. It’s ceramic so wear it and enjoy.

Puzzled why you would be afraid to wear a SS Daytona, but if you are not wearing it, sell away for something you will wear.

I do love it, but still have all stickers on it because I wore it so few times. I think I’m just afraid of depreciation, given the current markups for it. Also, just getting the gold gmt made me realize how much I love PM and was eyeing the smurf next.

if you love it, I'd keep it and wear the hell out of it. If you can't get over the value of it, then you can't really enjoy it I suppose. I'd personally really try to get over it though and enjoy the watch. It's incredible!

Also agree with this.

I'd trade the others for another PM piece. WG/YG Sub probably if it was me.

I'd keep it. I think you'd miss it if it were gone.
