Aftermarket protective stickers?

Searching this forum just brings up discussions of to peel or not. And searching online gets me rolls of tape.

Is there a seller of protective stickers for watches? I use them on my phone in the past and that’s worked well. I figure high wear on the deployant can be avoided.

Polyamide tape, also known as DuPont Kapton tape.

I gnash my teeth making any suggestions on taping parts of your watch though. I hope you're talking internal and not external, right?

Wouldn’t dirt accumulate around the edge of the sticker and look worse ?

Personally I’d just enjoy the watch

Hahahaha. I know people that do this with Scotty Cameron tour putters. They can run a few thousand in many cases and they stick a clear tape on the bottom to prevent scratches. It’s so strange! Lol, no tape!

I do find this less strange than something i read yesterday about a member cleaning their watch every single day.

I’ve used that Kapton tape on a previous 3d printer bed, after using painters tape. My Prusa doesn’t need it with the new beds.

I use a macbook for several hours a day every day, and i don’t want to prematurely wear the deployant or the macbook. i’ll likely get a keyboard cover of some sort as well. my other option is not wearing it most of the time, or switching out to a cheaper strap or bracelet. I don’t want to be taking it on or off either.

If i was a paper shuffler or hand shake artist i’d leave it be but it seems silly to insure it and then just ruin it grinding it into another piece of metal 6-8 hours a day.

I’ve made some patterns for my own watches. Primarily for the clasp and side of the case. I know it sounds ridiculous but to each their own.

Pm me and I’ll let you know what watches I have patterns for.

Polyamide 6 or 6,6? Or 10,11,12?

Why take stickers off in first place only to purchase new stickers down the road

The real question is, are you buying the high quality stickers or the cheap knock-off ones?

Might make a real difference.
