Monticello Motor Club

Finally, my first track day.

What an experience. I drove an M240 for the first three sessions. Drove mine the following as I wanted to see what it can do.

I passed a McClaren pretty easy. But was toasted by a Miata among some others. Clearly it’s the driver, not the car. That said, I hit 133 in my car at one point.

Possibly my most enjoyable day ever. The collection of cars is ridiculous. A few one of a kinds. And some just outrageous automobiles.

Everyone there was shockingly nice. I can’t say enough good things about this place.

You may have heard the question before:

Do you know how to make a little money in racing?

Awesome!! Happy to hear you had fun, Seth.
I enjoyed my first car track day not too long ago. Certainly not the last!

let me know when.

I will go with you.

I am very seriously debating joining the club.

one more day with a pro, and I can drive on my own. I would love this.....

the draw back was the endless traffic coming home. but if I go any day other Sunday , it will likely be much better.

damn tho, this place is amazing.

seriously crazy...got a ton of compliments on the car. but it was average at best. likely far below to many. this place is not filled with ballers. it is filled with the people writing the paychecks of the ballers.

I was likely the weakest sucker there. but I loved every minute.

I did. But I haven’t kept up.

I need to follow up on that.

Thanks for the reminder.

Is that Ari?

What a great guy. Please put in a good word.

I’m debating buying into the lowest level membership. Still way out of my range. But it’s a one time fee and I can likely make it up in networking and bringing customers.

Seemingly the only thing holding me back is the justification in my mind to spend those funds. But in the end, I’ll need to get approved.

I think if you'd use it, it's worth it. It's the equivalent to a Golf club membership... But WAYYYYYY more fun... And I'm a golfer. LOL

The off-road track and carts are a blast too!

My buddy is PQ, but all the guys there are super cool!

Good luck! BTW... Nice ride

That would be a great way to spend your time and money Seth. But absolutely it’s mainly a hangout for the tri state elite haha I am not quite there yet!

Will let you know if I make plans to return
