Bluesy Incoming!

To start, I am new to the forum. In 2011, my father gave me his DJ (#1603/0) which he bought in the 1960's. I have worn that watch nearly daily for the past six years.

As that watch was sent in for service, I started to look around for a watch of my own. I had my heart set on a Hulk, even turning down a SS Submariner Date in Black from an AD in Arizona three weeks ago.

I was over in London for a visit this past week, on my last evening there I visited an AD and they happened to have a Bluesy in stock. I thought the watch looked sharp and after a little consideration and at the urging of my girlfriend, I made the purchase. It was also a deal with the VAT refund and weakness of British Pound to the US Dollar.

Submitted for your consideration, my second Rolex watch and first Rolex purchase: Submariner Date Rolesor Bluesy (116613LB).
