Day-Date Oyster VS President

The president bracelet is unique only for the Day-Date and 99% of every Day-Date I see in the wild has a president bracelet. But every once in a while I see someone who have chosen the oyster bracelet.

To those who chose the Oyster bracelet, I am just curious to why?

If you get a 2nd or 3rd (and the colour stays the same) I would switch it up to oyster.

I did not think about that, but that is a good reason to choose Oyster. I would do the same.

My wife chose the oyster—she feels it is more feminine.

The oyster has a hidden clasp and sizing can be tricky.

Sorry to contradict. No, it is not.

There were President band for other PM Rolex watches, Junior or Lady datejust for instance. And a small batch of YG submariner and YG GMT Master.

I have an old 31 mm Datejust with a president bracelet. Had it for 27 years now.

By the way, I also vote for the president on a Day Date.

I am an outlier - my first DD had the Presidential bracelet. But after that I’ve only had DD’s on a strap. I found it more comfy over both Pres. & Oysters.

President makes the watch, combination with a 36 watch head is perfectly balanced

I think the reason to go oyster would be the adjustable clasp, no?
