Rolex Pepsi, Tudor Pepsi, and the GMT I want
After traveling for a couple weeks and not thinking much about watches (well, other than in the airports of Amsterdam, Zurich, and Paris :-o), I began looking at pics of the new GMT Pepsi again. Although, I haven't seen one in person, the shiny bezel AND the jubilee bracelet makes it seem a bit "blingy" and more flashy than what I might want (yes, I know TRF has determined an oyster will fit the new Pepsi). I will reserve final judgment until I see in person.
I just re-read a great review of the Tudor GMT, and I can't wait to see it in person. Its a little bigger and thicker than I want, but it may still scratch the itch. I like the muted colors of the bezel and smaller digits better than the Rolex GMT. Ref GMT size.....are GMTs large out of necessity or because that is what people want? The Omega Planet Ocean GMT at 43mm is too big and thick for my taste and the new Tag Heuer "Pepsi" is also a little big at 43mm (though less thick than the Omega). I would give a serious look at an Omega GMT is it was the size of the Rolex GMT. So, Tudor, if you are listening, I would be happy to buy a Tudor Fifty-Eight GMT with the clasp off the Pelagos. |

A GMT version of the Tudor 58 would be awesome! The Tudor Pepsi GMT looks nice but it is too thick

Only suggesting this because you mention the Tag Pepsi but the Tag Heuer twin time with the grey dial is actually a REALLY handsome watch in the metal if you’re looking for a GMT style watch that doesn’t dwarf the wrist and isn’t that flashy.
