I'm on waiting list at my local Goldsmiths (Milton Keynes), I also have a deposit down with an AD in Glasgow who promised July delivery.

One from Glasgow hasn't turned up yet, not had any calls from Goldsmiths. I saw one in a window in Cologne the other week but was 3750 euros.

I walked past a Rolex/Tudor dealer in Birmingham the other week, on the main shopping street near New Street Station, popped in, they didn't have the Pepsi GMT.

I prefer it on the NATO strap as I think it adds to the tool watch look.

With regards to the “Tudor waitlist” issue, it happens. New watch, great value proposition, extremely limited supply of big brother, no cyclops.... there is high interest. Not sure that it will last forever, but when demand outstrips supply you get a waiting list. I’m suite a couple years ago people would have scoffed at the idea of a waiting list for a ss Sub.

Asked several times at ADs in Birmingham.

Goldsmiths only really want to do business with you if you’ve bought from them before, specifically their actual store.

They have a good tudor stock as of last week but a long list for the GMT.

Watches of Switzerland didn’t have any info to share. I’m pretty sure they said they’d only had a couple in and due to their list length didn’t know when it could be delivered if I joined the list.

I went to WoS on New Street (Birmingham) over the weekend and got the same message. They had a good selection of Tudors but not the GMT and were not taking deposits for the piece.

The Ernest Jones in Westfield Sheperds Bush only has a waitlist of 15 people but are yet to receive one.

Half tempted to pull the plug on the BB GMT and get a BB 58 instead, its a lot closer to the 6538 Submariner I dream of.

For anyone that's considering a visit to the Goldsmiths in Canary Wharf to investigate their waiting lists, don't bother!

I have just been told that they have a 3 page long waiting list which, based on their current rate of receipt, puts expectations towards the end of next year!

Again - full set of Tudors in the window...
