Watch investment 50k usd budget

Ok so I would like some ideas I’m looking to buy a nice watch that won’t plumbit in value with around 50k usd.
I was looking at the openworked ap but they recently started dropping from their high premiums I tried to order one but the 3 years waiting list put me off.

Any suggestions welcomed
Thanks for sharing your wise words in advance!

116506 in the secondary market,
Any of the popular SS Pateks (5711, 5164, 5167 etc) - but not at a premium - good luck with that.
AP 15202 - Also would not pay a premium.
Or, if you can find a 116500 or 126710 at a decent price and sit on the balance.
Personally though, I prefer the 116500 and 126710 over all of the others I mentioned and they're a fraction of your budget.

watches are not investments. Premiums are only a function of supply and demand not being balanced. There is no underlying value for price appreciation. When the next best thing gets released 99% of these over retail watches will drop as there is something else people want and cant get.

15407 is a great watch, but its not an investment. It will retain value pretty well as will a lot of Patek and Rolex watches but expecting large amounts over what you paid isnt reasonable in the long term which is different than a short term flip. The other factor is any watch that is flippable right now you probably wont be able to get from an AD anyway without a significant purchase history.

Another "investment" thread, great. Watches aren't investments.

I would go with a Platinum Daytona, can be had for low-mid 50's. New or mint.
