Hi glad you like it. Correct the red hand is alarm indicator.

This is my real gem which I have all the documentation with me, but I don’t wear it. Should bring it out to see light whenever possible.

The 34mm is my favorite size and suit me very well despite I have 6.75” wrist size. That’s why I started this thread. Please post your 34mm beauties :)

My three offerings- a Big Rose and two Small Roses. I think these vintage 34 mm Tudors offer some of the best value on the market right now.

Borderline Vintage?

Datejust 160133 circa 1986. New to Rolex and not sure if this completely qualifies as vintage but pretty sure it is 34mm.
Interesting situation... It was my grandfathers then fathers and almost positive my father reported it stolen early 2000's to insurance company/police, but I found it in his possessions after his recent death.
The question is: if I send it to Rolex to have it serviced and they think it stolen and confiscate it, will they return it to its rightful owner (which is me at this point.) Same last name as my grandfather and father and have certificate from original AD. What does Rolex do with "Stolen watches"?
Thanks in advance and to all other posters - what beautiful watches!

Hi correct the red hand is alarm indicator. For example the alarm will be activated not exactly on the dot but plus minus around that set time.

I don’t know. This feels small to me. I have 7.25” wrists.

It WILL feel small inevitably as it is a small watch by today's standard. And I think it looks "less small" on the bracelet as the fitted endlinks makes the watch case look sightly bigger.

But by no means is that too small for your wrist, it just takes some getting used to.

Here's my 1965 1002 ........poor thing's had 53 years of hard use and more knocks than a serial burglar's front door but still runs like a thoroughbred.
I love it !

Your watch is a 36mm DateJust. Unusual situation. The watch actually belongs to the insurance company but they've long since written the loss off so it kinda belongs to the IRS. :)

Maybe an attorney will be along to explain. Since insurance companies require a police report there's no doubt there's a cloud on the watch. Usual procedure is to report the number to Rolex along with a copy of the police report.

Of course, the right thing to do is sort it out with Rolex, the insurance company and the police. Failing that it's just a stolen watch.
