Astron - First Seiko Purchase - PICS
Hey all. A couple of pictures to show the new pick-up. My first purchase.
I'd had Seiko years back, (it was a gift) literally wore it off my wrist, had to replace the pins that locked the bracelet in (multiple times) as they both popped off. Eventually, I ended up losing the watch as the pins popped when I was out one night and didn't realise. Yes, I was extremely drunk. Since then I've had my eyes on a few models that I periodically desired, ended up coming across the Astron about 6 months ago and decided if I still wanted it that bad in September I'd buy it. Was fortunate enough to find one very close to me in Brisbane. It was listed at $4300, went back and forth for what was about 20 seconds and agreed on $3500 cash, probably left some on the table but that's how it goes!! I have cut the band as there was a fair bit of excess that rose the under wrist profile far too much. I couldn't be happier with the purchase. |

Amazing watch.
The dial has amazing quality and depth. I have had the older model for quite a few years.

Such a cool watch. It’s probably a lot of fun to watch the hands set themselves!

Looks very nice. Correct me if I am wrong, but that is a pretty big watch, right?

Amazing watch. They have always been a little to big for me though.
Congrats on it. |

Good news on the smaller Astron. My 6.5 inch wrist appreciates it!
