This needs to be a poll..

1. A price decrease
2. A price increase
3. No change in prices

or

4. Rolex is starting to compete with WalMart and open a chain of retail stores world wide.

I don't anticipate seeing or hearing of any news regarding Rolex (from Rolex) today, tomorrow, or EVER! Secretive Bastids The best news would be that Rolex realizes that they have made a mistake in raising the prices of the Same watches that cost thousands less 10 years ago and they are lowering the prices to meet current economic demand. That is NOT going to happen.

Im posting this from another forum.

I am not taking credit

Please note that only the french version is an official Rolex document, the translation
has been made for this forum.

GENEVA, December 16, 2008

Mr. Patrick Heiniger, has informed the Board of Directors of Rolex S.A. of his decision to step down as CEO and administrator at the end of this year in order to pursue personal interests.

In 1992, he followed after his father, Mr. André Heiniger; under his leadership, Rolex companies worldwide have sustained unprecedented growth.

Mr. Heiniger will remain available as an adviser to the Rolex Group and to carry out any missions entrusted to him.

Management and Board of Directors will proceed in the conduct of the Group's business.

You didn't read the rest of the release.

I have been invited to be the next CEO. As part of my plans to improve sales, I am moving forward with making the Leopard Daytona the flagwatch of the company.

I will also be introducing the Hello Kitty Deep Sea Sea Dweller in mother of pearl at an attractive price of $20,000. This should target our untouched demographic of compulsive watch buyers in the adolescent female age group.

Finally, to compete with Omega and their tie in with the James Bond franchise, look for a special edition Hogwarts Milgauss to be release in conjunction with the new Harry Potter movie this Spring. This watch will feature a second hand shaped like a wand from one of your favorite characters.

I thank everyone in TRF for their continued support and welcome any suggestions to improve the Rolex brand.

The Harry Potter should really have Harry Riding on a broomstick
at the bottom of the second hand, that would be really classy!
