<<<<< Which Sub Looks Best ? >>>>>
Did a little window shopping today.
There's a local jeweler who specializes in preowned Rolex here in town for many decades. Prices are Ok as everyone who is in the business knows the current market and is capitalizing on it so no secret there. Just went in to try on the different references for comparison... Main thing is they had pretty much all in stock except a 5 digit Sea Dweller 16600 and 5 digit ND Sub. So out of these 4 that I've tried on which looks best on my wrist? Thinking of doing a little shifting around ... Picture of 5 digit purplish dial Bluesy just for fun... |

Well, I'm not surprised ...
The Sub C date does look fantastic but the ND Sub C looks pretty good as well... Once you get used to the ceramic version and especially if one has a big enough wrist it fits like a glove and the 5 digit doesn't cut it anymore because the cat's out of the bag... So now ... To date or not to date ? Please don't tell the misses.... |

Sub c +1. Personally the 114060 looks the best on your wrist, or maybe it's just a better picture.

Ceramic sub with date is my pic but the 5 digits are very very comfortable to wear.
If you like a lighter watch the 5 digits are the way to go. Some people do complain that the bracelets are a little tinny though. |

If they were all brand new the 16610 with SELs would walk it for its more elegant proportions.
Sadly the one in your pic has seen better days.

find a mint 16610 unpolished with SEL’s one can try on . Peter , I understand your point but they’re all kind of nice respectively. I like the 5 digits but am leaning towards the ceramic for more wrist presence because the 16610 lugs are worn down a bit too much ... |

That’s what I would go for. Don’t really like the super case. The clasp and the longevity of the ceramic bezel is nice, but if I was going to have just one, it would be the 16610. Good luck. Here’s mine from 1997 |
