I tried a 44 and it was just too big for me. I appreciate them, but just can’t pull it off. My wrist is the same size. 42 my limit.

I think it’s too big but I agree that the black ceramic will look a bit smaller. Your wrist looks like you’re maybe a teenager so maybe you’ll fill out a bit in a few years and carry it off a bit better. JMO.

have to agree with others.. unless you're hiding a big frame and some 15" biceps off camera

maybe try an all black 44mm offshore. like the ceramic or grand prix

Agree with others that it looks big from that picture. Perhaps try on the 42 because if you're already questioning it now, you likely still will if you decide to go for it.

X1000 and I have 6.6 inch wrists and cant wear the 42 or 44s. Easy pass IMO

Looks a little big but it could just be the picture, get what you want if you like the way it looks. It comes down to what you like, not us

So, today I tried the ceramic one which I saw at a gray dealer. Does look a bit smaller though compared to the steel model

As much as I love the 44mm I will be honest with you and say it's too big. I have the same problem. Well, I personally would look for an alternative like 42mm Trulli / Ruben instead. I understand that 44 is sexy and I want one too but wearing a watch that suits u will make u feel more confident and get much more compliment from my experience. It's similar to a big guy with large wrist won't wear a 36mm or even 40mm watch as nice as ones with small wrist.

Still got the lug overhang. It’s less obvious somehow and looks better but if you are concerned whether people will see you wearing it and thing it’s too big, then personally I would recommend exploring the 42mm ROO range instead. Same issue for me with the 44s, just too big for my wrist.

The ceramic 44 is such an awesome watch that I actually think it looks good on you.

Try a ceramic 42mm or a 42mm with steel bracelet. I have the same wrist size and shape as you and the 42 fits comfortably on me but the 44 just doesn't work at all...

Sorry, but it's too big. The fact that you're asking means you already know the answer -- trust me, because I was in the same camp about a month ago. My wrist is the same size and I started essentially the same thread asking if it looked OK. I got pretty decent feedback saying it looked fine, convinced myself it was, pulled the trigger, and knew within 15 minutes of opening the box that it was too big. I had it listed for sale a few hours after that.

Fortunately, I only lost a few hundred selling the watch, but I still wasted a ton of time and energy during the semi-stressful sales process. Also, I knew it was too big for me to begin with, but just wouldn't admit it to myself, which made it even more frustrating.

Save yourself the frustration and stress and just let the idea go now, trust me.

It definitely looks too big on you. I'm sure you already realize this but still tempted since it's a great looking watch but it's just disproportionate on your wrist.

It is an awesome watch, but not worth convincing yourself that the size works if you feel in your gut that its too big (if you feel it’s ok... then go for it!!).

Have you considered the CE or the FC Diver? There were a couple for sale at Champagne Court when I was there a couple of weeks back.

I know pictures are always deceiving and the obvious answer is wear whatever you like.

My 2 cents would be, does it feel comfortable? I have roughly the same size wrist as you and I would say for AP if you don't mind it fitting bigger 41/42 is still the max. It would just feel too big anything above that. Looks aside, on the 44 for our wrist size, it won't feel comfortable after awhile.
