Picking up 15400 on begining of January 2019

Hi All,

Do you think I should be concerned from a price increase picking up a 15400 from butique at the first days of January 2019? I can pick it up on December but January is more comvinient for me to travel...what do you guys think? Is it risky?

In any case I guess it would only ever be max 10-15% so probably not worth sweating over or making alternative travel plans.

What about closing the transaction in advance of 2019 over the wire? Pick up when you get there. It's a known new product.

Consider having it shipped.

Why do you think there will be a price increase in Jan 2019? Something you’ve been told by the boutique? Thanks

Pay the 25% on cc then pay the remainder by wire and have it shipped to you. Then wear it and stop into the boutique during travel to get it sized or just say hello.

Agree with the everyone about shipping.. why not just pay and have it shipped over immediately if you're concerned with any potential price increase. When they called me for mine, I was beyond excited and couldn't wait to get it.

Thanks guys, but shipping isn’t an option in my case. Does it even make sense that Im vulnerable to price increase even though I put a deposit? Espcially when the watch arrives before and I’m just picking it up after (assuming there will be a price increase, as I’m not sure at all and just talking based on some posts here mentioning it).

I thought the price increase already happened? I don't see there being another one. And I don't think it would usually happen in the month of January anyways.

What dial are you picking up? Is it a blue dial? I won't fuss too much about the minimal increase, the travel adjustment cost would probably offset all of if not, most of the increase (if it even happens).

I think you are subject to the price changing until you have paid in full and taken delivery or at least paid in full and the watch has arrived at the store.

No shipping because you’ll be on the hook for paying for it?

Pay in full or get the price in writing that shows the price minus deposit with total owed

if you put a deposit down on it you should be locked in at the price you have been quoted.
