I was once obsessed with the BLRO
I am no longer obsessed with getting the BLRO. The more I look at it the more I just don’t like the jubilee. It’s just not my style. Perhaps the long waitlist saved me in the long run because I would’ve purchased it right away...probably because of the hype. I’m very happy for others who love the watch. I’m onto the TT CHNR, just trying to determine if I can stomach the 14k plus taxes for a watch. I love GMTs and already have a BLNR. A BLRO might be too similar anyway whereas the CHNR offers me something different. However, if I could afford the white gold BLRO then I’d be all over that.

I'm the exact opposite. The more I see it the more I want it. Not enough to go grey, but enough to keep checking the lists I'm on. The CHNR is a beauty just not my cup of tea. I'm not a big fan of brown in general. My mom scarred me as a kid making me wear a terrible pair of brown corduroys and I've never gotten over it.

I'm the same. Lucky enough to have the WG one, and very happy with it.
Keeping an eye on the CHNR myself... I'm not a TT guy but this one may get me eventually... |

I'm the opposite. The jubilee helps make it stand out among the other professional references

Why not consider what a brushed sub bracelet would be like instead?
No need to worry about jubilee then. |

The Chnr is very nice, just not me and l agree about the WG Blro. I'd buy the SS Blro if things were normal , huh is this the new normal ! Well l did get my Blnr from my AD for msrp tax incl. I've bought from grey dealers but never over msrp, so too bad for me.

I think the jubilee on the BLRO looks a little more fancy than the oyster bracelet and will make a change for what I already have in my collection.
So much so I bought a jubilee for my 16710 just last week. |

I was the opposite. Didn’t want the BLRO at first and then when I got to see it in person, it completely changed my mind.

I am the opposite. Was not a fan initially but the more I see them on incomings, the more I want one. Not enough to go grey but when my AD calls- I will prolly get a speeding ticket getting over there!

I love the jubilee on the new Pepsi, and I own the WG version. Wish there was a WG jubilee

To each their own. I dig them all, and to own one is a proud moment anyway!

If I were you - Sell the BLNR, save your CHNR budget, save some more if needed, and try to score a deal on a 116719BLRO which happens from time to to time, it's an under the radar watch that sometimes doesn't get the attention it deserves.

I really wanted it at first, but then I tried on both the BLRO and two tone CHNR and the CHNR grabbed me. The BLRO is nice but felt too light on the wrist for me. Don't get me wrong, if and AD had one at retail, I'd buy it and probably fall in love lol.

I think I’m over it and then I see a wrist shot like this and it makes me wonder. It’s just too bad one can’t walk into a store to try on a BLRO or CHNR. It’s just too hard to tell from pictures alone, especially when you’re dropping 10-15k.

Finally got to try one on yesterday. Really nice watch and I am ok with waiting for it at retail from my AD. It confirmed that it’s not a must have watch for me.

I can't underscore it enough ... the colors of this bezel really do not photograph to what it actually looks like in real life. To me at least, the blue and red are much deeper than what I'm able to show here in this picture. Sent from my SM-G960W using Tapatalk |

The BLRO still does nothing for me. Guess I need to see it in the flesh. The Tudor GMT always intrigued me more - stays much closer to the tool watch origins of the GMT in my opinion, while the BLRO is closer to the jewelry side of things lately especially with the jubilee

I love the DD40 more than the Pepsi. I also prefer the Daytona over the pepsi. But i prefer the pepsi over all GMT’s and subs.

Huge GMT fan here, so...both the CHNR and BLRO tick a lot of boxes for me. And I would throw the Tudor GMT into the mix as well.
My thought would be to just take what you get at this point. If it's a CHNR, well...I agree the 14k is hard to stomach. But, it's a great watch in its own right and should it not work for you, then it's still holding pretty steady on the secondary market. |

If you love the watch besides the bracelet why not buy an Oyster or brushed bracelet? Both would work. Many threads on it.
