Proper box for 2002 Sea Dweller?

I've got an incoming 16600 (yeah!) that has papers and booklets but no box. It is a 2002 K serial and I think I've seen different boxes used. Does anybody know whether a 64.00.02 or 68.00.71 box is correct? I've seen both used and just want to get the one the watch most likely came with. For what it's worth it was originally sold in the U.S.

There is no correct box for most all Rolex watches only perhaps a box type from that period between X&Y years.Most of the SS will come in small boxes watches like the DSSD most times will come in larger boxes but this not always the case.Basically its whatever the AD has at point of sale on his shelf,boxes are made in several parts of the world.So say a box in the USA could have a different numbers to say a box from Europe so any time period small box will do for your SD the numbers are not important.

Thanks. I saw that but it leaves out 2002.

16600 1992 68.00.01
16600 Aug-96 68.00.01
16600 Jul-99 68.00.71
16600 Nov-99 68.00.55 (Rolex U.S.A)
16600 Sep-04 64.00.02
16600 Mar-05 31.00.04
16600 Feb-06 31.00.64

The above could be interpreted as 68.00.55 for all 16600s between 1999 and 2004. Then in 2004 they started using 64.00.02 but I don’t think that’s accurate. I realize the AD could give a box that they had on hand but if anybody has a 2002 K serial that they bought from the AD could they tell me the box number?
