Scratches are a bummer, particularly when they are not from something you did. If it's 'super-small', I would try to live with it. You'll be adding your own scratches sometime soon. Others will offer good options and solutions for removing this and future scratches. Good luck.

Two different questions: yes, it's possible to have it removed. Should you? It's up to you, but there will be more where that came from. If it's small and you think you can live with it, I'd leave it. Deal with it at service time.

By the way, friends don't let friends wear their watches adjacent to other metal. So take it in that spirit when I say, don't let anyone do that again.

what bugs me is the scratch on the steel part cause i know the gold area is gonna get scratch no matter how much you try to avoid it, and yeah last person to try the watch was that person and anyone else can just look at it from my wrist

In the end, it's your call. If it bugs you that much, get it buffed out. If you're looking for advice on whether your annoyance is justified, you will get a whole range of opinions, which is ultimately zero-sum. But if you want those opinions, post some pics. You'll get plenty of feedback.

You can take a fiberglass “scratch pen” to brush the stainless section of the bracelet. The gold section will eventually blend all on its own...

Thanks,
Randy

Just FYI steel is not scratch resistant. It’s going to scratch also. But it’s a harder property then gold so it can be buffed our easier. If it’s on the shinny part use a cape cod cloth. Best of luck.

I used weimans a couple days ago on my SS bezel. Worked beautifully. I am not sure if I actually did more harm than good because after I was done I saw that it has petroleum distillates. I was wondering why the cloth was black after I used it. Did I screw up anything? The bezel is shiny and free of scratches

Ignore the scratch, enjoy the watch. It can be cleaned up at service time along with all the other scratches you get between now and then.

I used a damp green scotchbrite pad on a SS sub bracelet to great effect. Just tape the gold and polished surfaces, and give it a go!

Just leave it. These DIY Cape cod/scotch brite jobs often look shoddy at best...

Get it refinished... put it in a box and never wear it again... it will never get scratched again. Problem solved.

Use a course wire brush on the whole watch.
It will add so many scratches you won't be able to see the one you have now.
It will be disguised from view..sorted

If it does not show up in pictures it must be so superficial not worth bothering and fretting about it.

A Quick rub on a drive way or side walk and you will never notice the scratch that was Bugging you !

A Stopped watch reads the correct time twice a day !
