116659 SABR Pavé Dial. All factory set.

I paid a little over MSRP, but still less than the listed price(s) on Chrono.

What a terrific piece. I bet you do not have to wait for any watch at your local AD haha. That pretty much puts you to the front of any line. I would imagine they did not make many of these. It would be awesome to look at this under a jewelry loop.

Unfortunately, I am in a line of work where I get to be with people whose loved ones did not make it “to New Years.”

Congratulations! It is a beautiful watch! But, wear it! Enjoy it! And be thankful for being able to own it! Honestly, you do not know what tomorrow brings.

Have you heard phrase that includes the line, “live everyday as if it were your last?” Imagine your heir (the lucky one who inherits your gem) telling the story... “but he never wore it... he didn’t even remove the plastic wrapping.”

Sorry to sound somewhat morbid... but, slap that beast on your wrist and “dance like no one is watching!”

Peace.

I got it from a grey but at a reasonable price I couldn’t say no to. Can’t find these pieces just lying about - especially the pavé dial is going to maybe a dozen shops around the world and only the top of the top will get it offered. Unfortunately my purchasing history has been scattered around many ADs so my loyalty points haven’t been racking up.

Not your every day “incoming”. Congrats on a rare and stunning piece. Shame it’s gonna be a “safe queen”.

I still don’t know what that is? A diamond blinged Submariner? I can’t read the dial.

It’s a 2018 novelty submariner white gold presented at Basel. Basically an upgraded LB but four times the price. A rarity.

But lugs look too thin to be based on 116610 case.

Congratulations.

Not my cup of tea, but I can understand why you would not wear it and leave the stickers on as I imagine it will prove to be a shrewd investment.
