Goodnight Rolex

Where do you store your Rolex at night?

Nice, the one I'm wearing is either on my wrist or on my night table. The rest of the collection is locked up.

I just plop it down on my night stand. It rests very comfortably there because it is made, at least the outside, of a very hard metal called steel. My nightstand is wood and I think it is like a fine matress to my subc.

I used to store them under my pillow, but I think I lost one to the tooth fairy.

I charge the lume with an LED light and it stays on my wrist while I sleep.

The one I'm wearing that week goes on the night stand and the rest are in a pelican case somewhere nice and safe.

I wore my first one day and night, too.

Now, they go onto the winder in the safe.

On my wrist. The others sleep in the safe until it's time to wake them up.

Yep... The lume on my 2018 Explorer will easily hold a charge for 8-9 hrs, so it’s my go-to watch every night.

♛- Yet to be determined, but a white 16520 is on the short list. (I believe that I'll be able to read it better than my old 116520)

soft storage slows time
hard surface gains time
position of watch also influence timing

Can fine tune to perfect time keeping.Every watch is different

I got the exact same set-up for my wife about a week ago. Her arthritis prohibits her from unscrewing the crown and winding when a watch runs down. It's a nice inexpensive winder. It also helps protect the watches. She needed an upgrade for the DJ she got for Christmas this year. She went from one watch winder spot to two.

All the best to your wife! The Chiyoda is good looking and reliable.
