Looking to decide between these three models. Many thanks in advance for your opinions and feedback on which model would be best suited for a 'one and only.' I have a vintage tank as well.

Explorer. Classic hands, dial and lume. Great proportions. Clasp also has Easylink, which the OP39 doesn't.

DJ for me.

I cant do watches without a date complication as a minimum.

The only black dial non date function watch I would choose is the present Air-king
It's a milgauss under a differant name
And a relative bargain at the price

I'ld go for the Datejust out of these three. Mainly because of the date.

As a one and done, the datejust for the date function. Add a jubilee also and you have a couple of different looks.

If date complication is a must, then choose DateJust. If not, I will choose the Explorer I

I prefer the Explorer. I like the history and the way it looks on a NATO strap or vintage leather.

Ask yourself if having the date on your watch is a deal breaker?

Explorer for me. Even though not having the date would bother me, I don't think I will be happy wearing a 36 mm watch.
