Knowing exactly what it is would be a big help. If he thinks it’s ink, spray a little lady’s aerosol hair spray on a white cloth and gently dab at it.
If it really bothers him, he can get a new box. Check Quality Tyme. They usually have all the sizes. Good luck.

Scotchguard foam, but make sure you let it work before you smear it all over. And don´t overscrub it or a difference in the felt will pop out. You might notice a small color difference at first but it will be gone when it dries. Do this only if it bugs you too much.

You can try white vinegar and see if that works. Try diluting the vinegar a bit first with water. It might smell a bit but should air out if it does work. Good luck!

You’re welcome I just realized you’re in the UK. Here’s a link to Quality Tyme and the boxes. http://www.qualitytyme.net/pages/acc...cessories.html
Your friend can probably find a dealer with boxes much closer to home.

Any way to remove stains on the felt inside rolex box.
Hi there -
He should not use any product with a solvent, or vinegar or soaps with fragrance or the next thing your friend will say is: “How do I get this awful smell out of the felt in my Rolex box?” Currently it is a small visual blemish, to avoid making things worse he could try steaming it while using a vacuum attachment to pull away the resulting condensation. If nothing works, and he’s bothered by it, maybe fetch the numbers off the bottom of the box and seek an identical replacement like Rich mentions above. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Rubbing alcohol. Cotton swab. Continuous blotting. Should do the trick.

Try dabbing using a cotton swab dampened with Hydrogen Peroxide from your local pharmacy. Blot using a clean cloth for the dabbing. Do not rub the stain; that will cause smearing.
