mine arrived today from DSW. every time i am lucky enough to get a watch in the post i marvel at the size of it relative to expectation.

anyway it has bumped smurf off the wrist (DSW took off dive extension and it fit straight out of box albeit at tightest setting). might not last though as i am still in smurf honeymoon phase.

dome is not as domed as i thought it would be but still adds alot of interest. the watch is extremely good looking and the long second hand is great.

and i normally wear a sub. sometimes a hulk, sometimes a smurf. this DSSD is as comfortable as the ss sub i reckon. crown is beautiful and big and smooth to operate. very nice!

I was pretty nervous about the purchasing my Deep Sea. I tried it on and it felt great but wondered would it be too uncomfortable in the long run. I’ve only had a sub and this definitely wears bigger, heavier, and differently but it is not uncomfortable in the least. The dial is amazing and I can’t stop looking at it. I put the sub back on for the first time and it felt so strange.

love the deepsea blue.
it amazes me that people keep complaining about the inner silver ring.
i love it
it seperates the blue dial frpm the black bezel which makes it even better in my opinion.

what a lovely watch.

First post, also first Rolex for me as well. Got this from an AD about 2 hours down the road from me. Had to make the difficult choice between black or blue.

Thanks! I'm use to wearing larger watches so a regular sub just felt way too small for me. Besides i've had my eye on the DSSD for quite a while now.

The blue is so subtle. It looks black in most situations to anyone other than the wearer.

Nice fox pajamas.

Happy to join the club this coming Friday.
Got my hands on fresh-off-RSC 6 year old 116660LN, so it is in an excellent condition.
Be assured that photos will follow

After a long time trying to decide what would be my first Rolex I managed to bag a JC unworn a few weeks back. I love it. A friend had a black dial and i always liked it.

Cant see why people moan about the size i think its perfect.

Cant work out how to insert a photo! Enjoying being a member of the club already.

My LVc was hard to take good pictures, but the DSSD D-Blue is so photogenic.

My 3018 DSSD loses 3s a day. I’m not impressed.

Over the last 3.5 days my 116660 D-blue has lost 0.5 of a second.
I'm pretty happy with that
These old movements can be quite good
