Some straps for TR

Just snapped a pic of the ones that get worn. The case that these are sitting on is an antique jewelery cupboard that my MIL bought as a present for me. I don't keep my value watches in it, those are in a safe spot, but I keep my G shocks, Seikos and fun watches in it. It has 5 drawers full of straps, but these are the ones from the first two drawers that get some wrist time.

And here is the fun watch drawer, I threw the 233 in there as well as the DJ as those were the watches I wore on the day I took that pic. There is actually another drawer exactly like it on the bottom that has the rest of my G-Shocks, just love those things!

That's a beautiful piece of furniture Daren What's the piece in the second row, right hand side with the brown strap?

Nice box there D.

Liking the airman as well. Thinking about picking one up in the near future. Trying to do some research on them. Stowa is looking like a good bang for the buck at the moment.

Nice strap collection Darren, I just picked up a 233 and would like a black croc strap with white stitching. Any suggestions?

I would suggest SteveToronto at Molina straps or Kurt at the Watchboys, both have OEM quality straps for a fraction of the cost. I have multiples from each and love em.

All about trial and error bro, I spent more money than I should have over the years, but I have had a ton of fun and now know what I like and from whom.

LOL, I'm still but a young padawan mate, and I've been at this Panerai thing going on 4 years now. I have many a friend that are the true Jedi masters and I defer to them and still try to learn and enjoy this crazy ride.

For my new 232, which one the good strap? The store I bought my straps, have vintage strap called "1950". Do you ever hear that, Buddy?

I am not sure if that is the OEM casmere strap but that is a killer strap f so. Sort of a mustard color that looks better with age. Has a buffalo grain look, love it! For the 232 I could have one nice ammo in tan and one nice dark croc and be good to go I think. :-)

OEM is original leather strap by Pannie?
Do you have the site of this "1950" strap?

Don't think that Panerai makes straps themselves, I believe that some elves in basement somewhere in Italy make those straps for them! OEM strap is more like official Panerai strap made by someone else.

If it is the one you are thinking of, is just a fossil, but it has the PGA logo on it and was a gift to me when I received my PGA Class A membership.

List is $190, give or take $10 USD, so that sounds high if it is the same strap.

The PVD was a 9B. I actually sold that to a friend who was trying to collect the entire B series of watches. Now that is hardcore.

Yeah I know that!!! That PVD look so cool. Too bad you already sold it.

The 1950 strap they have is with PVD buckle. Very nice with vintage brown colour.
But I guess USD 250.- is too high, right?

It may be one of the new ones for the 26 and Monopulsante, but not sure. But if it has that buckle, that would be my guess.
